Dr. Garth Becker has been successfully overseeing patient care for over 20 years. Dr. Becker's expertise ranges from taking care of critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit to relieving symptoms of the common cold. As Medical Director of Buena Vista Urgent Care, Dr. Becker continues his pledge to patient health and well-being as his number one priority. Dr. Becker is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a designated Civil Surgeon. He is also certified for Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association. Dr. Becker enjoys reading, scuba diving and traveling in his spare time.
Ana Lourdes Perdomo is a licensed Nurse Practitioner and a member of the AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners), who has been at Buena Vista Urgent Care for the better part of the last 17 years. Ana's love for medicine started at an early age in her native country Cuba, where she earned her Medical Doctorate's degree at Havana University in Havana, Cuba. Upon arriving to the United States, Ana worked her way from being a medical assistant to earning her Bachelor and Master's degree in Nursing, becoming a RN (Registered Nurse) and eventually a (NP) Nurse Practitioner. She began her work experience as a medical assistant at Buena Vista Urgent Care in 2006, and briefly stepped away to finish her studies and work at Advent Health. She rejoined Buena Vista as a NP at Buena Vista Urgent Care in 2020, where she continues to apply the utmost care and professionalism towards her colleagues and patients, alike. In her spare time, Ana enjoys riding her Peloton and listening to music.
Dr. Efrain Segura has been with Buena Vista Urgent Care since 2017. He is well known for building a strong rapport with his patients through his sincereness and attentive nature. Dr. Segura became a board-certified doctor in Family Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. However, his career in medicine started well before that in Cuba, where he became a Doctor of Medicine in 1987, Internal Medicine certified in 1990, and had a fellowship in Intensive Care. He worked in an emergency department in Cuba for almost 10 years before coming to the United States and becoming a board-certified US doctor. In the United States, he has worked as a PCP at Optum since 2013 and has divided his time between Optum and Buena Urgent Care since 2017. In his spare time, Dr. Segura enjoys mountain biking and going to the gym.
